Blue Milk invites multiple modes of habitation and is characterised by iridescent swells of blue which reveal a rich monochromatic spectrum across its compound volume.

Its sweeping form simultaneously embraces the user when positioned on its concave elevation, whilst creating a dissection by means of a blade-like vertical horizon line originating at its rear. This vertical blade transitions into distinct horizontal wave forms on each side elevation, creating structural forces that synthesise form, function and surface flow, marking the transition between the blade and waves by blurred surfaces in motion.

The color is inspired by the climactic scene in Jean Luc Godard’s Pierrot le Fou in which the protagonist blows himself up with dynamite after applying blue paint to face.

Introducing the reengineered Crater Side Table, the offcuts assembly now doubles as a bench with a mirror-polished steel base reflecting the growth of the form.

Galerie Armel Soyer presented Blue Milk and Contoured Crater Suite to an audience of collectors and enthusiasts at the 2014 edition of Art Paris.

Contoured Crater Desk was presented by Galerie Armel Soyer during the inaugural edition of Design Shanghai 2014 which took place from February 27th to March 2nd.

Paris-based gallerist Armel Soyer is featured in the current edition of Ideat Magazine, which showcases the home she shares with photographer Gilles Pernet and their two sons. Their design collection includes Ren table and Tootsie rug.

Milky Splice is featured in Esprit du meuble et du design: L’évolution esthétique de l’Antiquité à nos jours / Spirit of furniture and design: The aesthetic evolution from ancient times to our days. This new book by French author and design historian Anne Bony chronicles the evolution of furniture typologies over time and is an insightful resource for both scholars and enthusiasts.

Ren marble table is featured in New York Magazine’s 2013 Global Design Issue, their worldwide survey of youthful ambition and ingenuity. The article is available to view below.

Earlier this month, Priveekollektie presented BULGY to an international audience of collectors and enthusiasts during the annual PAD fair in London’s Berkeley Square.
